COVID-19 Guidelines for Gwesty'r Marine Hotel
Following the Welsh Government guidelines and local council risk assessment advice we have outlined below a few points that we would like to draw your attention to.
Following the latest announcement, we are pleased to be able to welcome leisure guests from the 27th of March if they reside within Wales.
We are still able to accommodate guests from further afield that require accommodation as part of their work or for special welfare matters. In order to accommodate you, we do require a letter from you or your employer confirming that your stay is essential and in-line with all national and local restrictions so that we can show our local authority, you can email this to us at [email protected]
Please note that we are only providing accommodation on a room-only basis and that our bar, restaurant, and spa remain closed. Breakfast boxes are available to add to your reservation or to purchase from reception on arrival. Please contact us if you require more information.
BEFORE YOU ARRIVE – Guests are required to confirm that they are in good health and show no signs of any Coronavirus symptoms, and that any recent international travel conforms to quarantine guidelines. Check-in is from 3pm.
ON ARRIVAL – Payments for accommodation will be taken from the card number given on the morning of arrival to limit contact. We have a large reception area and social distancing will be required – we have adequate signage and markers to make your arrival as easy as possible. Keys will be disinfected and sanitized after each guest. Please contact us on the morning of arrival to arrange your arrival time as this needs to be monitored. Masks are required to be worn in all public areas around the hotel.
DURING YOUR STAY – Following Government guidelines we are unable to open our bars, restaurants, lounges, or spa facilities. Breakfast is available to purchase from reception. Face masks are required in all public areas. Although we do have a lift, it’s encouraged that it’s only used when essential and not shared with other guests.
Our Spa remains closed for the safety of our guests, until Social Distancing measures in the County will be lifted. Treatments will be available from the 12th April 2021, you can book in advance through Luxe Beauty by Sabrina's Website: https://www.luxebeautyandspawithsabrina.com/. We will look to re-open our Gym to hotel guests from the 10th May 2021 following the Welsh Government's outline to re-opening of leisure and fitness.
ON DEPARTURE - We do request that guests depart before 10am as all rooms need to be sealed for two hours before our cleaning team can enter and so that we can have plenty of time to carry out our cleaning and sanitization procedures.
All of our staff and team members will undergo training on the new health and safety guidelines, and we are we have completed the new industry standard set out by National Tourist Organisations of Great Britain and Northern Ireland called 'We're Good to Go'. This accreditation lets you know we have implemented the Government's COVID-19 reopening advice and have clear health and safety processes in place.
