Gwesty’r MARINE Hotel is excited to be able to re-open on the 11th July after a difficult few months! Following the Welsh Government guidelines and local council risk assessment advice we have outlined below a few points that we’d like to draw your attention to.
BEFORE YOU ARRIVE – Guests are required to confirm that they are in good health and show no signs of any Coronavirus symptoms, and that any recent international travel conforms to quarantine guidelines. Check-in is from 5pm to allow us to have adequate time to disinfect and air the rooms upon arrival.
ON ARRIVAL – Payments for accommodation will be taken from the card number given, on the morning of arrival to limit contact. We have a large reception area and social distancing will be required – we have adequate signage and markers to make your arrival as easy as possible. Keys will be disinfected and sanitized after each guest. We have added glass and Perspex screens for your safety and to protect our team members. Please contact us on the morning of arrival to arrange your arrival time as this needs to be monitored and if your room was vacant the night before you may check-in earlier.
DURING YOUR STAY – Following Government guidelines we are unable to open our bars, restaurants, lounges, gym or spa facilities for the time being. Treatments will be available from the 27th July 2020 and restaurant and the bar look to re-open on the 4th August (subject to any changes by the Welsh Government). We will be serving breakfast as a Continental option to your room and Bar Meals and drinks are available to be served in your rooms. Trays will be delivered to your room and collected the following morning. Face masks are advised in the public areas. Unfortunately, our Lift is out of order for the time. ON DEPARTURE - We do request that guests depart before 10am as all rooms need to be sealed for two hours before our cleaning team can enter and so that we can have plenty of time to carry out our cleaning and sanitization procedures. You are required to remove the bed clothes and towels and place them in the shower/bath and to open the Bedroom window.
All of our staff and team members have undergone training on the new health and safety guidelines and we are we have completed the new industry standard set out by National Tourist Organisations of Great Britain and Northern Ireland called 'We're Good to Go'. This accreditation lets you know we’ve implemented the Government's COVID-19 reopening advice and have clear health and safety processes in place.
